We are an ornamental and architectural metal shop looking for a full-time fabricator and maker of things. The right candidate will have good welding skills and be very familiar with operation of hand and power tools. The ability to accurately measure and layout projects is essential. We build custom work for high end residential clients, so all of our work is highly detailed and precise. The right person is someone who is able work from plans, do their own troubleshooting, and figure things out without constant supervision. We are putting out a lot of work and we need people that can be self-starting and motivated, who can see projects through to completion and installation, and that cares a lot about producing work they can be proud of. We would prefer someone who is proficient in TIG welding various metals, including steel, stainless steel, bronze, and copper. However, we are willing to train the right person in welding if you have a lot of general experience building and making things.
