Expedition StaffAs an Expedition Staff member onboard the cruise ship, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for our guests. You will work closely with the Expedition Leader and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of our expeditions.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Expedition Leader in planning and executing expedition activitiesLead and participate in shore excursions, hikes, and other activitiesConduct presentations and lectures on various topics related to the expeditionProvide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their safety and comfort at all timesMaintain a clean and organized ship, including guest cabins and common areasAssist with meal service and other onboard duties as neededMonitor and report on wildlife sightings and other notable events during expeditionsParticipate in emergency drills and procedures as requiredAct as a liaison between guests and the ship's crew, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns or issues that may ariseContinuously strive to enhance the guest experience and provide feedback to improve operationsRequirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the cruise or hospitality industryStrong knowledge and passion for the destinations and activities offered on our expeditionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing situationsFirst Aid and CPR certification is preferredFluent in English, both written and verbal. Additional language skills are a plusMust be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documentsPhysically fit and able to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environmentFlexibility to work long hours and irregular schedules, including weekends and holidaysWorking Place: Miami, FL, United States
